Our Commitment
Committed to the environment and the community
Papillons Infrastructure Nature has its roots in the community. As the operator of the RechargÉco network, our organization was committed to expanding its impact beyond environmental considerations by making a meaningful contribution to the communities that host us.
That is why, on the 22nd of every month, all revenue generated by the charging stations is donated to a local charity, selected in partnership with the host IGA store.
The organizations we support work in a variety of fields: health, food assistance, poverty alleviation, community development, and education.
your charging becomes a donation.
How does it
work?
A mechanism with no intermediaries, no fees, no conditions. Every kilowatt-hour delivered on the 22nd of the month becomes a direct donation to a local community organization.
A movement that’s
gaining momentum
Since 2024, the Dons du 22 have distributed more than $98,200 to dozens of organizations across Quebec and New Brunswick. A 45% growth in one year — and it’s just getting started.
"You charge your car, and someone somewhere in your community is better off because of your action."— The spirit of Dons du 22
Organizations that change
lives in your communities
Each charging station, each IGA, each community has its own needs. The program adapts to every territory.

Why
the 22?
April 22 marks the celebration of Earth Day, a global event dedicated to preserving our planet. RechargÉco was born within the organization Earth Day Canada, and we wanted to honor that spirit by celebrating this symbolic day every month. This is our way of staying connected to our roots and contributing, one gesture at a time, to a more sustainable future.
