The Centre d’Action Bénévole de Contrecoeur is a nonprofit organization that promotes volunteerism and provides essential services to seniors and low-income individuals. Through home support, food assistance, and community aid, it fosters autonomy and improves the quality of life for citizens since 30 years.
Rooted in values of mutual aid, respect, integrity, and accessibility, the Centre plays a key role in Contrecoeur’s social development. It operates through three main areas: volunteer support, community assistance, and organizational governance, contributing to a more inclusive and supportive society.
The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Marché Emily Philip Desmarais inc. in Contrecœur are donated to them.
