Founded in 1987, Galilée is a Terrebonne community organization that fights food insecurity. Originally Auberge la Galilée, it became Les Oeuvres de Galilée in 2001 to clarify its mission.
The organization offers food support, food education services and social reintegration initiatives, promoting intergenerational learning and the integration of people in difficulty. In 2018, Galilée moved to rue Léopold-Lachapelle to better meet the needs of its clientele.
The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Famille Crégheur (La Pinière) inc. in Terrebonne are donated to them.
