Moisson Montréal

Founded in 1984, Moisson Montréal is Canada’s largest food bank. It collects and distributes free food donations to over 292 community organizations on the island of Montreal. Every month, nearly 908,000 requests for food aid are met, 36% of whom are children. In 2023-2024, over 19 million kilos of food were distributed.

Thanks to partnerships with over 375 suppliers, Moisson Montréal works to combat food insecurity by ensuring a sustainable and diversified supply.

The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Extra Langelier in Saint-Léonard are donated to them.
