Founded in 1917, Club Lions is the world’s largest service club organization, with over 1.4 million members in some 46,000 clubs. Initially known for its fight against blindness, the organization now carries out a wide range of projects, including environmental protection, help for the elderly and disabled, and food aid.
Through its SightFirst program, Lions work to preserve sight worldwide. Since 1968, the Foundation has donated more than US$700 million to support humanitarian projects around the world.
The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Marché Lamontagne et fille in Saint-Félicien are donated to them.
