Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you
need to know
Questions about compatibility, pricing, or how it works? Find the answers to the most common questions below.
Is my vehicle compatible with your stations?
Our Level 3 chargers (BRCC) support all 100% electric vehicles, regardless of brand. Teslas are compatible using a CCS Combo or CHAdeMO adapter, freely available at each site courtesy of IGA.
Do I need an app to charge?
No. You can pay directly at the station using a contactless credit card (RFID). The ChargePoint app is optional but recommended for an optimal, seamless experience without extra fees.
Can I use the FLO or Circuit Électrique app?
Yes, but interoperability fees will be added to the charging price. To avoid these fees, use the ChargePoint app, our official provider's app.
How long does a charging session take?
On average, 30 minutes to go from 20% to 80% charge. Duration varies depending on your vehicle, weather conditions, and battery level at arrival. To preserve battery life, avoid exceeding 80% except during long trips.
What happens after charging is complete?
You have a 5-minute grace period after charging ends before an occupancy fee of $0.49/minute (tax included) applies. Please free up the station promptly.
I have a problem at the station — what should I do?
Contact the station’s customer service here: Contact Support, available 24/7. In case of a stuck plug or technical issue, stay at the station and call directly from the station interface.

– Our History

A sustainable mobility initiative supported by the Éco IGA Fund

The RechargÉco network was launched in 2019, thanks to an initiative by the IGA Eco Fund. Created in 2008 by IGA retailers in Quebec, who contribute $1 million annually, this fund is administered by the Earth Day organization.

The IGA Eco Fund supports concrete projects focused on waste management, combating food waste, and promoting sustainable mobility. Since its inception, it has funded numerous eco-friendly projects tailored to the needs of communities across Quebec and New Brunswick.
