Created in 2013, the Northwest Regional Services Commission facilitates collaboration between municipalities, rural communities and local service districts to meet the needs of residents.

It offers solid waste management and urban planning services, covering municipalities from Connors to Drummond. The urban planning department assists municipalities and LSDs with territorial development planning and sustainable land use.

The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Supermarché Donat Thériault Ltée in Edmundston are donated to them.
