Founded as a non-profit organization, La Source alimentaire Bonavignon is an autonomous community group whose mission is to support individuals and communities in achieving better food autonomy. This is accomplished through educational, collective, and individual initiatives, such as food assistance, collective kitchens, a community garden, and cooking workshops.
The organization serves the area between Saint-Alphonse and Nouvelle, contributing to the region’s food security. Sales made on the 22nd of each month at the EcoCharge stations located at IGA 9505-6792 Québec in New Richmond are donated to them.
