The Centre d’alphabétisation populaire de la Matawinie-Est (CAPME) is an independent community organization that has been in existence since 1995.

The organization is a training and workshop center for adults focused on reading, writing, computer skills, social media, and preparation for high school equivalency exams.

The sales made on the 22nd of each month at the charging stations located at IGA Roger Rainville & Fils inc. in Saint-Felix-de-Valois are donated to them.
