Grenville, February 12, 2026 — Papillons Infrastructure Nature, manager of the RechargÉco IGA network, and the IGA 9234-7996 Québec inc (Grenville) store announce the commissioning of two new fast charging stations in Grenville. These new stations bring the total number of charging ports already deployed in the parking lots of 65 IGA grocery stores in Quebec and New Brunswick to 162.
In addition to offering ultra-fast charging stations capable of reaching 200kW and charging up to four vehicles simultaneously, the Grenville charging site stands out for its universal design, offering accessible spaces for all types and sizes of vehicles. At a time when more and more companies are switching to electric vehicles and electric recreational vehicles are gaining popularity, this type of charging configuration, which is still rare in the public charging station sector, offers a real advantage. This innovation reflects Papillons Infrastructure Nature’s commitment to providing suitable charging devices, installed at the right time in strategic locations.
In addition to being committed to the environment, the RechargÉco IGA stations in Grenville are also committed to the community: on the 22nd of each month, all revenue generated by these stations will be donated to the community organization Café de la débrouille.
By the end of 2026, RechargÉco IGA will be available at more than 80 grocery stores. It will have 20 additional sites and 80 new charging ports!
This second phase of RechargÉco IGA’s deployment is being carried out thanks to $6,750,000 in financial support from the Quebec government as part of the Private Sector Support Program for the Deployment of Public Fast Charging Stations, which stems from the 2030 Green Economy Plan.
