Bois-des-Filion, April 30, 2026 — Papillons Infrastructure Nature, operator of the RechargÉco IGA network, and IGA Marché Montée Gagnon Inc. announce the launch of two new fast-charging stations in Bois-des-Filion. These new stations bring the total number of charging ports already deployed in the parking lots of 66 IGA grocery stores in Quebec and New Brunswick to 166.
In addition to offering ultra-fast charging stations capable of delivering up to 200 kW and charging up to four vehicles simultaneously, the Bois-des-Filion charging site stands out for its inclusive design, featuring four universally accessible parking spaces. These new stations will increase the number of charging points available at key locations, while meeting the growing expectations of users seeking reliable, accessible, and fast charging solutions that they can combine with their visit to the supermarket.
In addition to their commitment to the environment, the RechargÉco IGA charging stations in Bois-des-Filion are also committed to the community: on the 22nd of every month, all revenue generated by these stations will be donated to the community organization Moisson Laurentides.
By the end of 2026, RechargÉco IGA will be available at more than 80 grocery stores. It will add 20 new locations and 80 new charging ports!
This second phase of the RechargÉco IGA rollout is being carried out thanks to $6,750,000 in financial support from the Government of Quebec under the Private Sector Support Program for the Deployment of Public Fast-Charging Stations, which is part of the 2030 Green Economy Plan.
