Beauport, September 25, 2025 — Papillons Infrastructure Nature, the manager of the RechargÉco IGA network, and the IGA Famille Laflamme supermarket are pleased to announce the commissioning of two new fast-charging stations in Beauport. These new stations bring the total number of charging ports to 138, already deployed in the parking lots of 59 IGA grocery stores across Quebec and New Brunswick.
In addition to offering ultra-fast charging stations capable of delivering up to 200 kW and charging up to four vehicles simultaneously, the Beauport charging site stands out for its inclusive layout, featuring two universally accessible parking spaces. These new stations will increase the number of available charging points at key locations while meeting the growing expectations of EV drivers seeking reliable, accessible, and fast charging solutions — all while doing their grocery shopping.
Beyond their environmental commitment, the RechargÉco IGA stations in Beauport are also giving back to the community: on the 22nd of every month, all revenues generated by these charging stations will be donated to the local community organization Entraide Agapè.
By the end of 2025, RechargÉco IGA will add 15 new sites and 60 additional charging ports, proudly expanding the network to 162 ports across 66 locations!
This second phase of the RechargÉco IGA deployment is made possible thanks to $6,750,000 in financial support from the Government of Quebec, through the Support Program for the Private Sector for the Deployment of Public Fast-Charging Stations, under the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy.
