Trois-Pistoles, September 17, 2025Papillons Infrastructure Nature, manager of the EcoCharge IGA network, and Coop IGA Trois-Pistoles supermarket are pleased to announce the commissioning of two new fast-charging stations in Trois-Pistoles. These new stations bring the total to 134 charging ports already deployed in the parking lots of 58 IGA grocery stores across Quebec and New Brunswick.

In addition to offering ultra-fast charging stations capable of reaching 200 kW and charging up to four vehicles simultaneously, the Trois-Pistoles charging site stands out for its inclusive design, with two universally accessible parking spaces. These new stations will increase the number of available charging points in key locations while meeting the growing expectations of users seeking reliable, accessible, and fast charging solutions while combining their visit with grocery shopping.

Beyond their environmental benefits, the EcoCharge IGA stations in Trois-Pistoles are also committed to the community: on the 22nd of every month, all revenues generated by these stations will be donated to the community organization Croc-Ensemble des Basques.

By the end of 2025, EcoCharge IGA will feature 15 additional sites and 60 new charging ports, proudly expanding the network to 162 ports across 66 sites!

This second phase of the EcoCharge IGA rollout is made possible thanks to $6,750,000 in financial support from the Government of Quebec under the Private Sector Support Program for the Deployment of Public Fast-Charging Stations, part of the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy.
