Founded in 1998, Croc-Ensemble des Basques’ mission is to promote food security and healthy lifestyles while helping to reduce food waste in the Basques RCM.

For example, the organization sets up collective cooking groups. These are small groups of people, led by a facilitator, who pool their time, budget, and talents to prepare tasty and economical meals to take home. The groups are open to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life through healthy eating, while having the opportunity to get involved in their community at their own pace. Everything takes place in a friendly atmosphere, in line with the values of popular education.

The amount of sales made on the 22nd of each month at the terminals located at the COOP IGA store in Trois-Pistoles, Saint-Eustache, is donated to them.
